Course Objectives:
Learn the basic concepts and terminology of Salesforce Administration.
Understand user management, security settings, and data access controls.
Customize objects, fields, and page layouts to meet business needs.
Implement automation tools like workflows, process builder, and flows.
Create and analyse reports and dashboards for business insights.
Manage data operations, including importing, exporting, and maintaining data quality.
Explore Salesforce features like AppExchange and integrations.
Perform system maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.
Apply knowledge to solve real-world business scenarios.
Prepare for Salesforce Certified Administrator exams.

MODULE I: Introduction to Salesforce and Admin Fundamentals [10 Periods]

Overview of Salesforce Platform, Understanding CRM and Salesforce Objects:


Cloud computing concepts, Salesforce architecture and multi-tenancy, Salesforce editions
and licensing, Navigating the Salesforce environment (UI, App Launcher, Setup menu),
Standard vs. Custom Objects, Object Relationships: Master-Detail, Lookup, and
Hierarchical, Record types and page layouts.
Data Management and User Management:
Import Wizard and Data Loader, Data Validation Rules and Formula Fields, Deduplication
and Data Cleaning, Creating and managing users, Roles, profiles, and permission sets,
Login hours and IP restrictions

MODULE II: Security and Access Management [09 Periods]

Org-Level Security and Object and Field-Level Security:


Trusted IP ranges and identity verification, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Field-level
security and field accessibility, Object permissions using profiles.
Record-Level Security and Auditing and Monitoring:
Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD), Role hierarchy and sharing rules, Manual sharing and
Apex sharing, Login history, Field history tracking and audit trail, Debug logs and security
health check.
MODULE III: Automation Tools [10 Periods]

Workflow Rules and Process Builder and Introduction to Lightning Flows


Creating and activating workflow rules, Process Builder concepts and scenarios, Overview
of Salesforce Flow (types and capabilities), Flow Builder interface and elements, Types of
Flows: Screen, Autolaunched, and Scheduled.
Designing and Managing Flows
Variables, Collections, and Resources in Flows, Decision and Loop elements, Subflows
and modular design.

MODULE IV: Advanced Lightning Flow Use Cases [10 Periods]


Building Flows for Common Business Scenarios and Screen Flows
Automating approval processes, Updating related records dynamically, sending email
alerts and notifications, Capturing user inputs with screen components, Validation and error
handling in screen flows.

Integrating Flows with Other Salesforce Features and Flow Optimization and Debugging
Embedding flows in Lightning Pages and Communities, invoking flows from Apex and
Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Best practices for flow design, Using Debug
Mode in Flow Builder, Troubleshooting common flow errors.

MODULE V: Reports and Dashboards [09 Periods]


Reports and Dashboards
Creating and customizing reports, Report types and filters, Dashboards: Components
and dynamic dashboards.
Hands-on Project
End-to-end scenario implementing Salesforce Admin concepts and Lightning Flows,
Automating a real-world business process using screen and autolaunched flows.
