❖ Wh question : ইংরেজিরে wh দ্বাো যেসকল প্রশ্ন কো হয় োরকই মূলে wh question বলা হয়। যেমন

➢ karim drives a car.

= who drives a car?

❖ Wh question কেরে নীরেে word গুরলা িানা িরুরে –োই নীরেে েকটি ভারলাভারব লক্ষ্য কে।

01.who (যক/ কাহাো)- বযজি Person(Rahim/karim, All, nobody, no one,none.

02. Where-(যকাথায়)- স্থান Place(Rajshahi, dhaka,japan,here,there,far,near.

03.When-(কখন)- সময় Time(at 7 pm, today,day,month,year,1971)

Rule no. 01. বারকযে গুরুত্বেূণ অংশ

ণ বাদ রদরয় wh question কেরে হয়।আে বারকযে গুরুত্বেূণ অংশ
ণ দুই
স্থারন থাকরে োরে। ১.subject এ। ২. Subject বারদ বারকযে অনয যকান অংরশ।

Subject গুরুত্বেূণ অংশ

ণ হরল wh questionএে গঠন হরব – subject িাদ যারি এিং গঠন হরি- Wh
question + িােী অংশ+ ?
Example :

Subject বারদ অনয অংশ গুরুত্বেূণ হরল

ণ যসই অনয অংশটি বাদ োরব এবং গঠন হরব- Wh question +
সাহাযযোেী verb + sub+মূে verb + িােী অংশ +? িসরি।
Example :
The baby is crying for it’s mother.
Why is the baby crying?

Rule no. 02: িারেয সাহাযযোেী verb না থােরে মূে verb টেে বদরে াোর হরি। মূে verb টেে
সারথ যবদ s/es থারে াহরে সাহাযযোেী verb বহরসরি does িসাি। s/es না থােরে do িসাি আে
যবদ v2 অথাৎ
থ past tense এ থারে াহরে did িসাি।
Example :
a) Karim lives in London.
Where does he live?
িযাখযা: এখারন করেম যকাথায় বাস করে? এে উত্তরে একিা িায়গাে নাম োওয়া োয়। োই where আনা
হরয়রে।যেরহেু এই বারকয যকান সাহােযকােী verb যনই আে lives verb টিে সারথ s যোগ কো আরে োই does
আনা হরয়রে। does বসারনাে কােরণ যশরে live এে s টি উরঠ োরব।

b) They work in a factory.

Where do they work.

িযাখযা: এখারন োো যকাথায় কাি করে? উত্তে হরে োো factory যে কাি করে।োই এখারন যকাথায় অথাৎ ণ
স্থান বুঝারে শুরুরে where আনা হরয়রে। যেরহেু এ বারকযও যকান সাহােযকােী verb যনই আে work verbএে
সারথ s/es নাই োই do আনা হরয়রে এবং বাকী অংশ বরসরে।

c) Rani went to Chittagong Saturday.

When did Ranj go to Chittagong ?
িযাখযা: োরন কখন েট্টগ্রাম রগরয়রেল? প্রশ্ন কেরল উত্তে োওয়া োয় োই শুরুরে when আনা হরয়রে। আে এ
বারকযে verb টি past form এ আরে োই did বসারনা হরয়রে।

Rule no. 03: িারেয সাহাযযোেী verb থােরে wh question এে পে সাহাযযোেী verb িসরি।
সাহাযযোেী verb গুরো হরে – am/is/are/was/were/have/has/had/have been/has been/had
been/shall/should/will/would/may/might/can/could/ought to ইেযারদ।
Example :
I have come from Rajshahi .
Where have you come from?

Rule no. 04: িারেযে subject বহরসরি যবদ nobody/no one/none neither থারে াহরে wh
question েের who + িােী অংশ? িসরি।

আিাে Everybody /everyone/someone/somebody ই যাবদ থােরে- Who + সাহাযযোেী verb +

not+ v1+িােী অংশ+? টযমন-
Nobody Believes a liar.
Who believes a liar?
Everybody wishes to be happy.
Who does not wish to be happy?

Everybody loves his motherland.

Who does not love his Motherland?

❖ Person পবেি রথ নে বনয়ম:

I,we,me,us…………you িসরি।
My/our…………,….your িসরি।
Am………………….are হরি।

রুেস এপ্লাই েের পােরেই হরি।
