New Power Point Exercise Mac12
1. Click Start on the Menu bar, point to Programs , and select Microsoft PowerPoint. 2. The PowerPoint dialog box opens. 3. Select Design Template. 4. Click OK. 5. The New Presentation dialog box opens. 6. Click the Design Templates tab. 7. Select the High Voltage presentation design template. 8. Click OK. The High Voltage design has a medium blue background and contrasting white titles and white text. It also has an animated design running up the left side and down the middle of the slide. 9. Select the Title Slide AutoLayout. 10. Click OK. 11. You should be in Normal View. 12. Click on the Normal View button .
13. Notice that the Status bar displays information about the current slidethe slide number and current design template.
18. In the File name text box, a suggested file name should be highlighted. 19. Replace this filename by typing Positive Mental Attitude , press Spacebar, type your initials, press Spacebar, and type your partners initials. 20. Click Save or press Enter.

Under After animation, click the drop-down arrow and select Hide on Next Mouse Click. Under Introduce text, select All at once from the drop-down list. This will make your bullets appear one by one rather than word-by-word or letter-by- letter. Check the box next to Grouped by 1st level paragraphs . Click the Preview button to see and hear your animation. The bullets appear one at a time and become dim when the next bullet appears. If the picture looks correct click OK.
