    Magno is a 2mm lead mechanical pencil unlike any

    other.It offers lead position accuracy far beyond other


    pencils due to the free-moving magnet concealed within
    its premium grade aluminium body.

    1. Once the end tip is rotated, the brass


    collet releases the lead.

    2.The ferrous sleeve located around


    the outside of the body slides by hand
    to determine the length of lead. The
    ferrous outer sleeve moves the magnet
    and lead within the body.

    3. The lead is secured again by rotating


    the end tip which tightens the collet.
    The 2mm replaceable lead is held by a magnetic component concealed within
    the body of the pencil.

    Development Prototype Timeline

    Both Design Engineers who have worked in the


    manufacturing industry for a number of years. As
    Designers, they have astrong passion to innovate
    products where design has become stale and
    unchanged latterly in their existence. What better
    product then a pencil?
    Using pencils on a daily basis, they noticed a number
    of faults and strongly believed there was a better
    product to be designed. The following one and a half
    years developing Magno became their lives, but it
    was 100% worth it.

    has always been the technology modestly hidden
    within its minimalist aesthetic. Utilising such a
    unique system to propel the lead has enabled them
    to make a significant design step in the mechanical
    pencil industry.
