    The process in adding dissimilar fractions:


    1. Change dissimilar fractions into similar fractions.
    - Identify the denominators and get their LCD
    - The LCD becomes the new denominators.
    - To get the new numerator, divide the LCD to the old
    denominator. Multiply the answer to the numerator.
    - The answer becomes the new numerator.
    2. Add the fractions like adding similar fractions.
    3. Reduce your answer in lowest term if needed.
