     WHY DO WE ALWAYS FALL?

    There is always some force acting on us that


    decides our direction
    No matter from where we jump or drop object ,it
    will always fall on EARTH surface
    NEWTONS LAW OF
    GRAVITATION
     It states that :-
    Every particle of matter attracts every other particle of matter which
    is directly proportional to the products of their masses and inversely
    proportional to the square of the distance between them

     G is Gravitation constant

    ACCELERATION DUE TO
    GRAVITY:

    As we all know that , weight of the object is equal to


    the gravitational force acting on the body

    weight of the object = gravitational force


    mg = GMm/R2

    g = GM/R2
    PROJECTION OF SATELLITE :

    Possible cases of projection of satellite


    when
    vp = vc ….. Satellite move in circular orbit
    vp = ve ……. Satellite moves in Parabolic path
    vp > ve……. Satellite moves in Hyperbolic path.
    Vp < vc …… Satellite moves in elliptical path
    KEPLER’S LAW OF MOTION:

     KEPLER’S LAWS ARE AS BELOW ;


     1) KEPER’S FIRST LAW (LAW OF ORBIT)
     2) KEPLER’S SECOND LAW (LAW OF EQUAL AREAS)
     3) KEPLER’S THIRD LAW (LAW OF PERIOD)
    LAW OF ORBIT :-

    It states that Every planet revolves


    around the SUN in an elliptical orbit with the SUN is
    situated at one of its foci of ellipse.
    LAW OF EQUAL AREAS:-

    The radius vector drawn from the SUN to any planet


    sweeps out equal areas in equal interval of time.
    LAW OF PERIOD :

    The square of period of revolution of the planet


    round the SUN is directly proportional to the cube of
    semi major axis of elliptical orbit.
    CRITICAL VELOCITY :

    The minimum velocity that is required for satellite to


    so that it can revolve around the circular orbit
    around the EARTH Is Critical velocity
    we know that required

    • ESCAPE VELOCITY:

    The minimum velocity with which the a body


    should be projected from the surface of the
    EARTH so that it escapes from EARTH’S
    gravitational field
    For EARTH it is 11.2 km/hrs.
