DIM
• In the YT-xx2 the DIM replaces the MFA10 dashboard instrument and displays values
available from the engine and transmission controller on the CAN-bus

DIM Basic functions
DIM
Speed indicator
The tractor speed indicator consists of a green line showing the actual tractor speed
between 0-50 km/h or 0-30 mph (depending configuration). In this case 12 km/h.
If activated, the red line on the right shows the actual tractor speed limit. In this case
the tractor speed is limited to 20 km/h.
6
DIM
The gauge shows the fuel level in green and the AdBlue level in blue as a percentage
of the top level. When either of the levels drops below 10%, the color of the icons
changes to red.
The purple indicator represents the air pressure of circuit 1 and the blue indicator the
pressure of circuit 2. When either of the air circuits drops below 5.0 bar, the color of the
icons changes to red.
7
DIM
The bar in the middle of the display gives a indication of the engine speed. To optimize
the fuel rate it is recommended to keep the engine speed in the green zone.
Gear indicator
The character and digit in the middle of the tachometer indicate the status of the
transmission.
The left character indicates the direction F, N or R.
The left digit indicates the current gear.

WARNING
O
When HEST lamp shows, the exhaust gas temperature could reach 800 C, which is hot
enough to ignite or melt common materials and to burn people.
Make sure that the exhaust outlet is not directed at any surface or material that can melt, burn or
explode.

• Alternator not running ( red )
This warning light shows when the engine is not running. The light should extinguish
when the engine is running. If the light comes on while the engine is running, there
could be a fault in the alternator circuit. Have the
vehicle checked by authorised service personnel.

The stall test is used to check for a reduced engine performance or for a correct torque
converter stator one-way clutch operation.
36
DIM
With manual gear selection the operator can manually select the transmission gear he
would like to drive in.
This is specifically useful for to check specific gear clutches for wear.
