An ethical code of conduct is a guide to
principles created to assist practitioners in
WHAT IS ETHICAL performing business in the right way. A code
CODE OF CONDUCT of ethics can reinforce the values stated in
the mission and vision of the company.
AND VALUE SYSTEM
Value system. A value system is a set of
? consistent values used for the purpose of
ethical or ideological integrity.
The company's Code of Conduct outlines the
importance of creating a supportive work
ETHICAL environment free from harassment, intimidation,
BEHAVIOUR IN bias, and unlawful discrimination, which, in
turn, helps attract loyal users. Each Google
GOOGLE LLC. employee is expected to: Take personal
responsibility for their actions
Treat everyone with respect. Participate while
GOOGLE’S ETHICAL acknowledging that everyone deserves to be
here -- and each of us has the right to enjoy our
POLICY experience without fear of harassment,
discrimination, or condescension, whether
blatant or via micro-aggressions.
Google has a flat structure, which means they
ORGANISATION’S have minimal middle and upper-level
management. This structure allows for more
STRUCTURE OF creativity and less micro-management.
Innovation and problem-solving skills are
GOOGLE LLC. encouraged. Employees have the ability to make
more decisions on projects.
GOOGLE’S VALUES
Respect the user, respect the opportunity,
& CONDUCT OF respect each other. Our Values govern how we
BUSINESS conduct ourselves in the pursuit of our
mission. We each need to own them
personally; we all need to own them
collectively.

Advertising is what makes it possible to offer


our products to everyone. While we sell things
like Pixel phones, apps on the Play Store,
YouTube subscriptions, and tools for
businesses, we make the vast majority of our
money from advertising.
Google's strategy is to have no strategy
GOOGLE’S DECISION in the beginning but to take its decisions
based on the changing market dynamics.
MAKING STRATEGY Its prime focus is not on making the
strategies, but Innovating for the
Customers. For them, the innovation
begins and end with the customers.
The first strategy is 'Thinking 10x'. Under
GOOGLE’S this strategy, the company believes that
innovation occurs when something is
INNOVATION improved 10 times rather than by 10%
STRATEGY (Schmidt and Rosenberg, 2014). This strategy
is mainly focused on the engineering
department of the company called Google X.
An organization that upholds a strong

ethical code of conduct and value system

demonstrates its commitment to integrity,

CONCLUSION responsibility, and societal well-being,

fostering trust, loyalty, and long-term

success among its stakeholders.
