The NOAA National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Central Operations is looking to hire an Operational Monitoring Branch Chief. This individual will be responsible for maintaining real-time reporting of operational issues. The position is in Silver Spring, MD.
The individual selected for this position will:
- Coordinate policy for operational processes and procedures and define requirements for the monitoring and support of new applications.
- Communicate operational issues to staff and senior management.
- Resolve problems with operational IT related issues.
- Manage the daily IT operational support of the office.
