The door to door salesman gained you a negative review. After being told multiple times we don't have the money for new windows he kept asking if he could leave a quote anyways and he could tell we had safestyle windows and they'd now gone bump so we would have to look for a new window company so let us give you a quote. He was unbelievably pushy to the point of almost aggressive to get us to have a quote. Not a chance would I get a quote from you in the future now if we did get the money to do our windows.

I created a job on Thumbtack on 1/20/2025 for a faucet replacement. I selected three contractors for bids. Those three messaged me within the app and I selected one. Thumbtack sent an email saying that the one I selected informed them that they had accepted the job. If I agreed with this to hit confirm. Thumbtack indicated if I did so they would notify the other two contractors they were not selected. This confirm button in the email then redirected me to the Thumbtack website to a page of contractors and no option to do anything. Only after the job was complete did I select done. Then the phone calls started dozens of them. All asking about the job I posted on Angies List, Home Advisor and more. I called Angies List. They did not have any record of a job. I opened a support ticket with Thumbtack. They added me to a do not call list. But the calls kept coming. After speaking with the contractor they confirmed that Thumbtack send your job as a lead gen to many contractors and after speaking with many of the callers I confirmed they were getting my job as a lead via Angies List and Home advisor. After 24 hrs I still have no call back from Thumbtack as to why these calls keep coming even after a day of closing the job and being added to Thumbtacks do not call list. This is seriously a violation of data privacy and unethical. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Really bad customer service. They either 1. don't answer the phone or 2. answer don't say anything but hello then put you on hold 3. act like they don't understand English when theirs was perfect.
