CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs offered in settings other than schools of public health. These schools and programs prepare students for entry into careers in public health.

CEPH Reaccreditation Timeline

The College is in the middle of preparing for our next CEPH reaccreditation site visit which will be in the Spring of 2025. Behind the scenes, a myriad of meetings is happening to ensure we have the resources and data need to present our story to CEPH. The following is a current timeline of where we are at in the process:

• Academic Year 2021-2022 – Year 1 of data collection complete
• Academic Year 2022-2023 – Year 2 of data collection underway
• Academic Year 2023-2024 – Year 3 of data collection
• Academic Year 2024-2025 – Self-study writing, mock site visit, and CEPH site visit

CAHME is the only organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to accredit graduate healthcare management programs in the United States & Canada. CAHME serves the public by promoting, evaluating, and improving the quality of graduate healthcare management education.
