I’d like to share this rhyme my grandma (婆婆, Pópo) would use to describe a few of my family members who got caught up in the teaching profession back in China. She was actually a teacher herself during the Cultural Revolution. This poem implies that being an instructor (although rewarding) is not easy, and quite stressful - in fact, so stressful that you actually get thinner by the pressure involved with teaching. Enjoy! (or try to at least) xo*~
