Create an Archive Audit Report

This article describes how to create an archive audit report by using the Archive Manager.

Prerequisites

  • Applies to: Administrator and Compliance Officers
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Time needed: Approximately 5 minutes
  • Tools required: Archive Portal access

The Archive Manager records all user interactions. To view a report of activity, users with Administrator or Compliance Officer permissions can create an audit report. Reports can include information about the following items:

  • User management
  • Logins
  • Exports/Downloads
  • Search activity
  • Tags activity
  • Holds activity
  • Purges
  • Settings and policies

Note: You can download reports directly from the Archive Manager.

Create an archive audit report

To create an archive audit report, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Archive Manager.

    For more information, see Log in to the Archive Manager.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the window, click the gear icon.

  3. On the Reports line, click Manage.

  4. Under the Audits section, click +New.

  5. After entering the guidelines for the audit report, click Create.

  6. After the audit report is created, you can download it as a .CSV file.
