Mission/Philosophy
- The Oberlin College Sports Medicine team is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to the club sport student-athletes participating in the club sports medical program. We strive to offer care in a manner that is professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Our athletic trainers strive to provide preventative instruction, immediate evaluation and management of injuries, ongoing rehabilitation, and quick referrals in connection with our team physician (Dr. Matthew Schaffer). Our goal is to provide high-quality medical care and return our student-athletes to their sports safely and effectively.
Facilities & Location
- The Sports Medicine Center is located adjacent to Williams Field House and has space for taping, treatment, rehabilitation, and hydrotherapy, as well as a private physician's exam room.
