Micah Peterson '07

Summary

Biography

Micah Peterson  is excited to join the Heisman Board and bring his knowledge and experience as a former track and field sprinter and team captain.

An Arizona native, Micah studied East Asian Studies and History at Oberlin, where he focused on Japanese pop culture and the influence of Black American culture on Japanese youth. He received a Master of Public Policy from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs in 2009. 

Previously, he worked with the Greater Phoenix Urban League, assisting in programs to help ex-offenders and other disenfranchised communities in improving employment outcomes.  

Micah currently lives in New York City where he works with the NYC Department of Education in data analytics.
