JONESBORO, Ark. -- Junior Tuva Marie Isebakke's fourth career top-10 effort paced Morehead State women's golf at the Lady Redwolves Classic this week at the par-72, 6,164-yard Sage Meadows Country Club.

Isebakke finished eighth among a field of 95 players as she carded a 71-76-72--219. It was her first top 10 finish since coming in sixth at the Butler Fall Invitational last October.

"I felt like we had a solid showing this week and we definitely had to have a good plan of attack here at this course," said head coach Stephanie Barker. "The greens and surrounding areas can make or break scores, but I really felt we had a great strategy and good execution for the most part. We were able to capitalize on our good shots. I am proud of Tuva for her top 10. This really was a great field. A top five finish would have been great but all things considered I am pleased, and we can build on this. It got a little bit cold and windy today (Tuesday) with gusts of around 30 miles per hour, so that was good it wasn't like that on Monday when we played 36 holes. All in all it was a solid tournament for us and we competed well both days."

Freshman Tavia Burgess continued her trend of top-20 efforts. She finished 18th with a score of 77-73-73--223. Burgess has now scored a top-20 finish in all four of her first collegiate events.

Junior Amelia Rae Greenlee was 32nd as she fashioned a two-day total of 76-73-77--226. MSU's final two lineup members were senior Hanna Montgomery (78-75-75--228) and sophomore Isabella Wiley (79-79-80--238).

Morehead State finished sixth in the field of 17 teams as the Eagles improved from round 1 to round 3. MSU finished at 302-297-297--896.

The Eagles have one remaining event before the winter break as they'll travel to Alabama on Oct. 25-27 for The Robbie (hosted by Lipscomb).
