Laurence Treadaway is in his first season on the coaching staff. Treadway will mentor the Eagle defensive backs and serve as special teams coordinator.
Treadaway, originally from Detroit, Mich., led the Fairmont defensive backs and also served as special teams coordinator in his only season there in 2023. Prior to that, he served two seasons as an assistant coach at Wisconsin Lutheran and was the team's special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach.Â
Treadaway went to Wisconsin Lutheran following four seasons (2017-20) at Michigan Tech, where he coached the Huskies' secondary and defensive backs and earned eventually earned his Master's Degree in sports administration.Â
Treadaway earned bachelor's degree in sports management in 2012 from fellow PFL school Valparaiso. He was a defensive back for the Crusaders from 2007-12 and served as team captain. Treadaway was named team MVP during his senior season.
He also spent five years coaching football, basketball, and track & field at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles. He was the assistant varsity football coach working with receivers and defensive backs, along with serving as the head coach for junior varsity boys basketball and the head coach for the girls varsity track & field team.
He graduated from Orchard Lake St. Mary's High School.
