Seth Marcum, a native of Eastern Kentucky, has joined Morehead State Athletics as the new Head of Strength and Conditioning and is in his first year in 2024-25.
Marcum holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and a Master's Degree in Sports Leadership from the University of Kentucky.
Marcum is a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, he is Level 1 certified by the United States Weight Lifting Association and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
In 2022, Marcum was honored with the title of "Mr. Kentucky" in bodybuilding, highlighting his dedication and expertise in the field. With his extensive background and accolades, he is committed to advancing the strength and conditioning programs at Morehead State and driving the athletic department toward continued success.
