Deep Freeze is a program that protects against unwanted workstation changes by “freezing” a computer’s configuration. The original configuration is restored each time the workstation is rebooted. Deep Freeze can work with both stand-alone and networked computers.


How to Obtain Deep Freeze

Contact the technical support group for your area. If your technical support is provided by OIT, please contact the IT Service Desk.

ELIGIBILITY AND COST

Participation in the Deep Freeze campus-wide agreement is provided to departments at no cost.

This software is licensed for use on University-owned machines and devices only.

The University has a campus-wide agreement for Deep Freeze, which provides for unlimited installations on University-owned computers. The annual term runs from October 1 through September 30 of each year.
