About RISA

RISA has been developing leading-edge structural design and optimization software for over 30 years. Their products are used to design towers, skyscrapers, airports, stadiums, petrochemical facilities, bridges, roller coasters, and everything in between. With RISA’s versatile modeling environment, and intuitive graphic interface, you can model any structure from bridges to buildings in minutes. UA’s College of Engineering has licenses for 3 of their packages: RISA-3D, RISAFloor, and RISAFoundation.
How to Obtain RISA
RISA is available to College of Engineering students, faculty and staff. Access the software through the link below with myBama credentials. The College of Engineering offers support to Engineering students, faculty and staff. Contact support@eng.ua.edu for assistance.

RISA is available to UA students, faculty and staff in the College of Engineering.
SOFTWARE INFORMATION
Connection to campus VPN is required to license RISA.
