In January 2017, Colorado adopted Retail Hydrogen Fueling Regulations which set minimum standards for the design, construction, location, installation and operation of retail hydrogen fueling facilities for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs).
FCEVs are powered by hydrogen. They are more efficient than conventional internal combustion engine vehicles and produce no tailpipe emissions - they only emit water vapor and warm air.
