Il SIArch-Univaq, in corso di sviluppo ed implementazione presso il Dipartimento di Architettura ed Urbanistica dell’Universita degli studi dell’Aquila, nell’ambito di una ricerca finanziata dal MIUR su fondi PRIN 2006, propone il tema della costruzione di un database GIS finalizzato alla conservazione ed alla valorizzazione del patrimonio architettonico storico. Si tratta di un sistema informativo messo a punto per avere il massimo della operativita alle scale riferite alla dimensione dell’architettura con l’obiettivo di consentire la messa a punto di strategie puntuali necessarie alla conservazione ed alla fruizione del bene architettonico, sondando i limiti del software esistente nel campo della interazione con modelli rappresentativi tridimensionali. Si e avuto cura, infine, di strutturare l’organizzazione dei database in modo da rendere possibile la integrazione dei dati disponibili con il database nazionale della “Carta del Rischio”.

This study examines the role of the Eura region as a nexus linking the inland with Baltic Sea trade routes. Luistari cemetery, spanning from the early Merovingian to Medieval periods, provides key insights into SouthWestern Finland's socioeconomic structure and communication networks. Despite its significance, this burial community's chronological dynamics and regional role remain poorly understood. Using multi-isotopic evidence contextualised with archaeological data, this research explores mobility and subsistence patterns among Luistari's population. By delineating the bioavailable strontium range in the Eura region, the study assesses the local burial community's mobility dynamics across various chronological phases. Identification of long-and short-distance migrants, discerned through strontium and carbon isotopes in conjunction with archaeological context, enhances understanding of Luistari within the regional and Circum-Baltic framework. Multi-isotopic evidence further aids in grasping local development within environmental and climatic contexts. Analysis of the strontium isotopic data patterns, combined with carbon and nitrogen, sheds light on settlement locations and subsistence strategies of the Luistari population. Notable transformations during the Viking I period (800-880 CE), marked by the establishment of a "founding" community, and shifts in dietary and migratory patterns in periods V II-III (880-1000 CE), indicate stabilisation of the local socioeconomic conditions. Period V IV (1000-1070 CE) reveals connections, both maritime and continental, as the local community integrates into long-distance communication networks. The Final Period (1070-1130 CE) then shows only limited signs of mobility. The data suggest varied mobility patterns over the long-term development of the local community coupled with visibly changing subsistence strategies.

This article undertakes a critical analysis of maps depicting the Kraków Ghetto produced in the post-Second World War period between 1946 and 2023. The available maps exhibit considerable variation in quality, as cartographic inaccuracies can significantly distort the representation of the ghetto space, thereby impacting research and the reconstruction of narratives pertaining to the locations where Jews resided, laboured, sought refuge, and perished during the occupation. The extant maps were examined from both cartographic and historical perspectives, resulting in a systematisation of knowledge concerning ghetto maps available within the literature. Following an introductory section, the article provides a concise overview of the Kraków ghetto's history and presents a quantitative and qualitative analysis of 35 maps. Among other features, the analysis encompasses streets (including names and layout), buildings, and other significant elements (e.g., gates, tram lines, and ghetto boundaries) represented on the maps.

Over the recent years, the usage of semantic web technologies and Resources Description Framework (RDF) data models have been notably increased in many fields. Multiple systems are using RDF data to describe information resources and semantic associations. RDF data plays a very important role in advanced information retrieval, and graphs are efficient ways to visualize and represent real world data by providing solutions to many real-time scenarios that can be simulated and implemented using graph databases, and efficiently query graphs with multiple attributes representing different domains of knowledge. Given that graph databases are schema less with efficient storage for semi-structured data, they can provide fast and deep traversals instead of slow RDBMS SQL based joins allowing Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation and durability (ACID) transactions with rollback support, and by utilizing mathematics of graph they can enormous potential for fast data extraction and storage of information in the form of nodes and relationships. In this paper, we are presenting an architectural design with complete implementation of BIM-GIS integrated RDF graph database. The proposed integration approach is composed of four main phases: ontological BIM and GIS model's construction, mapping and semantic integration using interoperable data formats, then an import into a graph database with querying and filtering capabilities. The workflows and transformations of IFC and CityGML schemas into object graph databases model are developed and applied to an intelligent urban mobility web application on a game engine platform validate the integration methodology.

Currently, a large variety of infrastructures are targeting 3D models. Recently, several overview reports on extant platforms and repositories [1-5] and 3D visualization frameworks and formats [6] were compiled. Infrastructures differ from services by including tools or services and facilities for operation. Particularly for 3D models, there is a main difference between such as repositories and aggregators for storing, collecting, and preserving 3D data as well as 3D viewers or virtual research environments that allow access to 3D models and research activities with them. • What are the types of infrastructures? • What are current challenges and developments? • Linked open data • Virtual research environments • 3D information systems

Further reading: The 3D Digitization Process For 3D digitization, process, and workflow schemes differ greatly by application scenario parameters, e.g., retrieval technology and heritage object parameters. Workflows involve two key aspects: documentation (data acquisition, e.g., of image or range data, and registration) and 3D modeling (computing into a 3D model, including point cloud generation, structuring and modeling, and texture mapping) . Data acquisition quality is influenced by several attributes : • Resolution: size and granularity of the samples. • Accuracy of the measure: variation from the original. • Repeatability. • Environmental sensitivity including robustness of the acquisition method under different climate conditions (e.g., light, wind, temperature). Framework conditions are set by acquisition time, portability of the equipment, flexibility (e.g., to retrieve at different conditions), and price [15]. The rapid urbanization which is common feature of countries of developing nations since the last century has constituted great threat to urban sustainable development. It is against this backdrop that this paper examines the urbanization trends in Ilorin, Nigeria. The data used for the study were obtained from secondary sources. Some of these data include population growth of Ilorin since pre-colonial era, annual population growth, spatial expansion of Ilorin between 1960 and 2010; and Built-up area of Ilorin from 1986-2006. Findings from this study show that the spatial expansion of the study area was propelled by rapid population growth i.e. in 1931 the total population of the town was 100,592, it grew to 208,546 in 1963, while in 1991 Ilorin population was confirmed to be 532,088 by the National Population Commission and it is believed that by the year 2020 the population of Ilorin will reach 3,518,771 based on projection. Neotectonic movements have caused differential subsidence in the Lower Rhine Embayment during the Quaternary. The Late Weichselian and Holocene Rhine-Meuse fluvial archive in the central Netherlands was used to quantify neotectonic movements in a setting that was primarily controlled by sea-level rise and climate change. Evidence for neotectonic activity in the central Netherlands is reviewed. Sedimentary evidence shows that fluvial deposits of Late Weichselian and Holocene Rhine and Meuse (Maas) distributaries are vertically displaced along the northern shoulder of the Roer Valley Graben system. Elevation differences in the longitudinal profiles of Late Weichselian terrace deposits were used to quantify tectonic displacements. New results for the southeastern Rhine-Meuse delta (Maaskant area) show that displacements in the top of the Pleniglacial terrace along the Peel Boundary Fault are up to 1.4 m. By redistributing water and sediment in delta plains, avulsions of river branches have major environmental impacts, notably in changing hydrological and peat-forming conditions in floodbasins. The central part of the Rhine-Meuse delta, with its extensive databases including detailed lithological data and high-resolution age control, offers a unique opportunity to study middle-Holocene avulsion impacts on floodbasin groundwater level and peat formation. Avulsion has caused local accelerations of rising groundwater tables to be superimposed on decelerating base-level rise. This is evident from comparing single-site groundwater rise for multiple floodbasins in the river-dominated part of the delta, with regionally averaged groundwater-rise reconstructions. Floodbasin type (lacustrine versus terrestrial wetland), size and openness, partly through effects on discharge dispersal, affect how strongly the floodbasin groundwater tables respond to avulsion-diverted discharge. Kto po kładce mądrze stąpa, Ten się rzadko w błocie kąpa Miejscem preferowanym przy zakładaniu osad była bliskość rzeki 1 , czego przykładem jest rzeka Nurzec i położone w jej bezpośrednim otoczeniu miasteczko Ciechanowiec, także przeprawowe (przymostowe) 2 położenie osiedla. Rzeka sprawiała, że miasto zyskiwało dodatkowy szlak komunikacyjny wzmacniający korzyści z położenia węzłowego przy jednej z odnóg traktu wileńskiego. Należało jednak pamiętać, że rzeki mogą okresowo wylewać 3 . Doraźne korzyści z istnienia źródła wody w pobliżu ludzkiego osiedla, współcześnie przestały być jednym warunków trwania osiedla, natomiast rzeki traktuje się jako atrakcję turystyczną, która podnosi wa-1 Nad Nurcem leżą miasta: Kleszczele, Boćki, Brańsk, Ciechanowiec. Rzeka jest IV-rzędowym dopływem Bugu, o długości 110 km, i zlewni obejmującej około 2073 m 2 . Dolina Nurca to Obszar Chronionego Krajobrazu Doliny Bugu i Nurca, z czym związane są m. in. ograniczenia w zabudowie, w tym letniskowej, zakazy niszczenia żeremi, nor i legowisk zwierzęcych. Previous studies have shown some key factors that influence the success of visualization quality for 3D objects of 3D map on Personal computers (PCs) and Laptops', crucial to that is the 3D computational processing capabilities of PCs and Laptops. Unfortunately 3D applications on mobile devices are hindered by the lack of efficient mobile rendering interfaces, low computational resources and direct 3D rendering at interactive rates. Although recently there are several attempts of building complicated 3D map visualization tasks on mobile devices, yet there is still problem of visualization quality of 3D objects of 3D map on a mobile device, this could be attributed to salient features which this paper try to uncover. An experiment that is aimed at investigating how people visualized 3D objects and orient themselves with the 3D map view on a mobile device for navigation assistance was carried out. The result indicates that the size and shape of 3D objects of 3D map significantly aided orientation, but there are no significant differences between the size and color. The 3D map view can increase the user's sense of presence; however, 3D map projections tend to represent familiar scenes by collections of their 2D views. This paper shows visual variations of complex 3D map scenes on small-screen mobile devices, with a single object-centered 3D map projection.

В статье на основе архивных источников и полевых исследований предлагается картирование и классификация девяти древних и средневековых укреплений бассейна р. Аввакумовки Восточного Приморья (Ольгинский район Приморского края). По геоморфологической характеристике укрепления относятся к мысовому, долинному и горному типам. Установлено, что фортификационные памятники создавались носителями разных культур (янковской, польцевской, мохэской, чжурчжэньской), датируемых I тыс. до н. э. – первой половиной II тыс. н. э. Впервые выявлено, что Михайловское городище относится к польцевской культуре эпохи Средневековья (VI в. н. э.). Расположение укреплений вдоль реки и ее притоков свидетельствует о функционировании здесь сухопутной и морской дорог. Сухопутная дорога спускалась с перевала к морю, морская магистраль пролегала вдоль побережья Японского моря.

Although indigenous and scientific knowledge for locating potential sites for water harvesting technologies do exist, a simple and integrated tool to assist farmers’ support agencies, is missing. A geographic information system (GIS)-based decision support system (DSS) can be a valuable tool for such a task. However, key to such DSS are the factors and their suitability levels, which are not well developed. This study therefore focused on the development of suitability levels for most important factors/parameters for identification of such sites. The factors included rainfall, soil texture, soil depth, drainage, topography and land use or cover. Specific suitability levels were derived from analysis of existing RWH technologies in Makanya river catchment. Results showed that suitability levels of factors differ with different RWH technologies. The cultural heritage and physical structures are considered to carry symbolic meanings inherent in civilization; they are the main components in formulating the identity and memory of populations, the bridge of communication between generations, and one of the development substrates in building cities in general, and liberated cities in particular. Preserving this heritage is achieved first by modeling it as one of the essential priorities in reconstructing these cities, thus strengthening their cultural resistance. The concept of Historic Building Information Modeling (HBIM) has emerged-a precise, integrated, and multidisciplinary technique for the modeling of architectural heritage in an accurate and sustainable manner and then disseminating it, especially regarding archaeological buildings that have been completely destroyed as a result of natural or military operations. This research aims to prepare an action plan, using several programs to achieve its goal. The HBIM model of Khan Hamu Quddo (1300 AH À 1882 CE) in the city of Mosul, which was destroyed due to military operations to liberate the city (2017), was represented through the Autodesk Revit 2021 program and developed with the Lumion program. The research revealed the role of HBIM in preserving the heritage from extinction, as a collective external memory of the bright, vigilant, fortified nation, preventing it from being forgotten and providing a strong link that connects the nation's present with its past, to build its future.

The Bronze Age cave "Les Fraux" at Saint-Martin-de-Fressengeas (Dordogne, France) has been discovered in 1989. This site made of a network of galleries of several hundred meters, is a field of investigation for several researchers. This paper will focus on threedimensional contact free measurement techniques for a full 3D-documentation of the structural elements of the cave with some focus on cave art details. In this cave, most of the art is etched in the clay and follows linear, schematic and geometric designs. There are indeed several manmade depictions on the walls and other valuable remains of activity all around the cave. For the archaeologists, the documentation and recording started in 2008 should: -contribute to the accurate indexing of the surveys and images of the remains and collections as well as structural elements and sculptures; -guarantee the indexing compatibility of the data between the different groups of researchers involved in the excavation; -ensure the georeferencing of any type of object in the different parts of the cave. Different techniques based on Terrestrial Laser Scanning (FARO Photon 80), Digital Photogrammetry (CANON EOS 5D images) and Spatial Imaging System (Trimble VX) have been used. The aim of the documentation work is to generate a geometric and photorealistic 3D model from the combination of point clouds and photogrammetric images, for both visualization and accurate documentation purposes. The underground tunnels of the cave are linked to the above terrain with surveying techniques for an accurate georeferencing. The workflow from the raw data to the final PDF-3D model will be discussed. Emphasis will also be given to the deliverables, since the huge amount of data is not directly usable by the archaeologists.

The research presented in this Doctoral Thesis proposes an automatic methodology using an algorithm that allows the detection of the coastline in deltaic environments from medium resolution satellite images. The images have been acquired through one of the free access databases of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States (NASA). To assess the goodness of the methodology, images from the Landsat project were used, from which three of the sensors used on the different satellites of the project were selected. This made it possible to use a large amount of data over a wide time range. In order to evaluate the goodness of the proposed methodology, a statistical comparison was made between the results obtained using the proposed indices, and those obtained from other spectral indices commonly used in the literature to detect bodies of water. La conoscenza geografica ha da sempre dimostrato la sua validità come strumento alla base di ragionamenti atti a definire soluzioni efficaci per il territorio. In molti domini infatti, come la pianificazione urbanistica e ambientale, è essenziale avviare processi di analisi e di ragionamento basati sulla conoscenza geografica e quindi sulla geolocalizzazione, nel suo significato più ampio. In questo contesto infatti, oltre ai fatti e alle relazioni spaziali, i portfoli di conoscenze includono le regole geolocalizzate. Affermazioni del tipo "In Inghilterra si guida a sinistra", "In Canada la maggioranza della popolazione vive lungo il confine con gli Stati Uniti" o ancora "Più si procede verso Nord, più fa freddo", richiamano delle regole specifiche contenenti un riferimento esplicito allo spazio che ne diviene quindi un parametro fondamentale. La natura di queste regole è ampia ed esistono diverse categorie attraverso le quali è possibile classificarle: (i) le regole di geografia fisica (es. climatogia, inondazioni, eruzioni vulcaniche, meccanismi di diffusione, idrologia, ecc.), (ii) le regole di geografia umana ed economica (demografia, sociologia, trasporti, economia) e (iii) le regole legali (costituzioni, leggi sull'urbanistica, l'ambiente, ecc). Queste regole, talvolta metaregole, possono provenire da esperti, da algoritmi di data mining spaziale, da documenti, dal crowdsourcing. Data la loro eterogeneità tuttavia, la loro modellazione attraverso i linguaggi naturali risulta un'attività complessa. Di fatto, la tradizionale forma IF-THEN non sembra totalmente adattata a modellare la geometria e la topologia dello spazio geografico. Lo scopo di questo lavoro è quindi presentare una classificazione specifica di questo insieme di regole e proporre un modello per codificare le regole geolocalizzate. Il tutto, tenendo presente che possono esistere deroghe, esenzioni e trasgressori, ossia luoghi e circostanze in cui la validità di tali regole geolocalizzate non è più garantita.

The acquisition of 3D point clouds representing the surface structure of real-world scenes has become common practice in many areas including architecture, cultural heritage and urban planning. Improvements in sample acquisition rates and precision are contributing to an increase in size and quality of point cloud data. The management of these large volumes of data is quickly becoming a challenge, leading to the design of algorithms intended to analyse and decrease the complexity of this data. Point cloud segmentation algorithms partition point clouds for better management, and scene understanding algorithms identify the components of a scene in the presence of considerable clutter and noise. In many cases, segmentation algorithms operate within the remit of a specific context, wherein their effectiveness is measured. Uncontrolled energy consumption by human beings, such as the increase in the demand for the gases used for heating purposes in houses, the rise in the number of industrial production facilities, and the uncontrollable levels of the gases emitted from the exhausts of motor vehicles, are among the causes that trigger chemical gas formation in the atmosphere. Increases in air pollution threaten people's health and disrupt ecological balances. For this reason, regularly monitoring the amount of pollution and taking the necessary precautions is crucial. In this study, which was conducted for this reason, the state of polluting gases between 2019-2021 in the province of Konya was examined using remote sensing data. The data were obtained from the TROPOMI instrument attached to the Sentinel-5 Precursor (S5P) satellite launched into orbit by the European Space Agency (ESA). Various atmospheric gases (ozone, methane, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and formaldehyde) can be detected by the sensors in this device. For this purpose, S5P Level-2 data was accessed via the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform, and different codes were written to obtain each data. Then, the data collection for the study region was completed. The monthly amount of carbon monoxide, ozone, methane, and nitrogen dioxide gases for the study area between the specified dates are shown in the graphs, and maps are produced for each year. As a result, it has been determined that methane gas is not observed in extensive wetlands and forest areas, and the minimum values of NO2, O3, and CO gases are in the summer months and CH4 gas in the winter months. It has also been determined that the region between the west and the south of the city center is the healthiest region in terms of air pollutant gases.

In our paper we discuss the different aspects of the process we have followed to develop a completely new software to manage Archaeological Parks. The software named SIDGEIPA (Distributed System for Integral Management of Archaeological Parks) includes different modules allowing user to store archaeological data from different sources (excavation, survey, scientific literature, museum collections...) and to process them automatically in order to simplify archaeological research. The new software has been tested in the AMAPA project (Archaeology and Environment of the first agriculturalist in Mediterranean Spain) including a full implementation of it at the excavation level in the Mas D’Is case (a Neolithic Impressed-Ware site). At the conference we will show examples of how the SIDGEIPA software is able to develop a Harrix Matrix and to model 3D reconstructions. The 1st-c. CE Roman siege system of Masada exhibits a high degree of preservation due to its remote location and the arid climate. However, unlike the thoroughly excavated Masada fortress, the siege system has not received due attention. This article is part of a research project aimed at advancing our understanding of the conflict landscape around Masada using contemporary archaeological methods. Following a comprehensive surface survey and photogrammetric 3D modelling, we show that the circumvallation wall stood to a height of 2–2.5 m and served several functions – as an obstacle, a means of psychological warfare, and a platform from which to mount counterattacks. Based on our measurements and workload estimations, we argue that the construction of the siege wall and the camps around Masada occurred fairly quickly.

The ancient Egyptian necropolis of Saqqara was the location of monumental funerary construction during Egypt’s Pharoanic Period. Using a 3D GIS, the author has created a visualization of Saqqara that represents the site across eighteen distinct building phases, documenting major shifts in the site’s architecture and environment. SUMMARY In Malaysia, cadastre system is carried out in two-dimensions (2D) and all cadastre have their own unique ID, called Unique Parcel Identifier (UPI). UPI is widely used in various land transaction purposes e.g. sale and purchase of land, land development, and so forth. Traditionally, cadastral registration system is a basic 2D land system. In the near future, 2D cadastre faces some difficulties in answering queries related to 3D complex situations such as apartments, towers, condominium, and etc, thus 3D cadastre seems most appropriate to be developed. Many common digital elevation models (DEMs) use geographic coordinates, including NED, DTED, SRTM, GDEM, and NEXTMAP, with horizontal spacings in the range of 1/9" to 3". Many GIS operations, such as slope/aspect, reflectance or hillshade mapping, and viewsheds, require geometric knowledge of the relationship between horizontal and vertical spacing. Published discussions implicitly assume a rectangular UTM or UTM-like grid because they refer to a single value for data spacing, and some commercial software either requires reinterpolation to UTM before algorithms will work or allows only a single factor to relate degrees to meters, ignoring the significant changes that occur with latitude. No matter how it is done, reinterpolation changes elevations, and cannot produce a better elevation surface. Geographic grids are not square and at best quasi-rectangular. The mathematics of using geographic coordinates should not deter software from doing computations in geographic space....

This project is actually explaining about the importance of online sim cards
registration, which has contributed more effectively towards in reduction of
phone crime in Nigeria. The Nigeria communication commission (NCC), has
taken a drastic method in putting a stop of every criminal act made, in the use of
mobile phone. The sim registration process, has not only help in finding out every
illegal or criminal act committed by various individuals, but also has contributed
to the nation (Nigeria), in knowing the volume or the number of persons using a
sim mobile phone. This process has also help telecommunication operators or
industries in finding out the specific crime made in the use of sim mobile phones.
For example, knowing the exact location, address, name, place and even time of
calls made by the individual will be trace out. The Association of
Telecommunication companies of Nigeria (ATCON) went into debate by asking
the various communication operators to choose between the security of the
country and their business.

• During the Late Iron Age, a large variety of dogs and the earliest evidence of dog leashes appear in Scandinavia. This study is based on an analysis of the dogs in the Nabberör boat grave on the island of Öland in relation to dogs from other burials and settlements. • Breeding and care of the dogs have been analysed through the integrated life stories of individual dogs, based on age, sex and health status, together with morphology and leash finds. The feeding of these dogs has been studied by examining stable isotopes (δ13C and δ15N) and their mobility through the strontium (87Sr/86Sr) isotopes. • The large dogs in Nabberör were kept and cared for in different ways than other common farm dogs. The dogs indicate social significance and links between elite families in South Scandinavia.

SUMMARY Landslide is one of the most devastating natural disasters for countries throughout the world which leads to life-threatening, properties and infrastructure damages. Hence, an effective technique is needed to monitor it thus, reducing the impact caused by this type of disaster. There are two approaches available for landslide deformation monitoring and they are pointbased technique and area-based technique. Nowadays, Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) technology is gaining popularity in monitoring and predicting the movement of the landslide body due to the capability of high speed data capture without requiring a direct contact with the monitored surface. Archaeological fieldwork projects generate extensive digital datasets and use increasingly sophisticated technologies to document and analyze them. Submission of these datasets to digital repositories for archiving and data sharing purposes is becoming increasingly common. It appears, however, that final publications of archaeological fieldwork projects still mainly appear as paper volumes or in their digital counterparts (e.g., PDF documents), with all the limitations they entail. Yet the online publication of archaeological data from excavation and survey projects that produce complex sets of textual, quantitative, visual, and geospatial data would seem to present many possibilities, if not also challenges. Ultimately, as is becoming increasingly recognized, online publication can provide diverse communities of users (from project members, to broader research networks, to the public) the means to browse, query (textually and spatially), and reuse archaeological datasets for broader regional and/or new research questions.

In this workshop, jointly sponsored by Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED), the Netherlands Institute in Turkey (NIT), and the Journal of Field Archaeology, we aim to bring together a small group of interested scholars for one day to discuss publishing archaeological data online in spatially queryable and displayable fashion, based on integration with existing platforms or via individually catered solutions. With a combination of short, 15-minute presentations from participants and general discussion, we would like to explore questions like these: What has been developed to date by individual archaeological projects and among archival platforms, what structures, protocols, and standards are available and recommended for textual, visual, geospatial, and 3D data, what hurdles can be expected and how can we deal with them, and how can projects with varied recording and classification systems work together?

The Global system for mobile communication otherwise known with the acronym GSM is a wondrous creation. It is a service provider in that it is an example of an entity that provides services to other entities (Regha, 2005:1) the entire world is rapidly becoming obsessed with it especially in our Nigerian universities. Everywhere you look at, or go to in our campuses, you are bound to see people with it (Ewheberene, 2004) Many of these GSM operators are to be found under umbrellas across the street, and in business centers sustaining a new means of livelihood for their owners while affording millions of Nigerians an opportunity to make a phone call at rates even cheaper than the mobile phone advertisers by using any of the different phone company booster card which provide call charge tariffs that are lower than even regular tariffs making the phone yet more accessible. The GSM is a reality in the Nigerian communication milieu. Indeed, Nigerians have waited long enough to enjoy an unencumbered telephony network due mainly to the epileptic services experienced with the Nigerian telecommunication limited (NITEL).

Previous research focused on the phenomenon of the hybridization of edutainment spaces and on the proposition of the notion of Mixed Embodied Presence as an alternative method and framework for analyzing and designing phygital spaces. The present paper aims to sustain the validity of the aforementioned notion by discussing the results of an ongoing experiment through the lens of embodied interaction and co-presence and highlighting the embodied and spatial aspects that were emerged and related to the production and the design process of phygital spaces.
