Regulated Waste Management
Acting as good stewards to protect both local and global environments, faculty, staff and students of Carnegie Mellon University conduct programs in solid and chemical waste management. With special focus on pollution prevention, waste minimization, recycling and sustainability, our programs incorporate Best Practices with Green Practices.
- Provide all waste management services for regulated materials generated at CMU
- Protect the environment by ensuring that all regulated waste is disposed in accordance with CMU policy, state and federal regulations
- Consults with laboratories regarding best management practices
