Collaboration both within NOAA and with many partner organizations in the Central Region provides robust service delivery to communities across the region. On this page you will find brief summaries and links to connect with each partner, as well as short interviews with NOAA staff and partners. The Climate Mapping for Resilience and Adaptation website to help communities across the nation understand the real-time climate-related hazards in their area, analyze projected long-term exposure to those hazards, and identify federal funds to support climate resilience projects for their communities. 

Held September 9, this hour-long webinar covers drought topics three minutes at a time. From learning about the National Integrated Drought Information System, understanding flash drought, or how drought relates to salmon recovery - you will have the chance to hear straight from the experts on a wide array of drought-related topics.

The NOAA Regional Collaboration Network is supporting NOAA’s commitment to sustained engagement with historically disadvantaged communities through regional pilot projects which respond directly to feedback received from partners during Climate and Equity roundtable discussions. In the Central region the focus is on building knowledge to support equitable climate resilience. 

In order to effectively communicate climate change with stakeholders, information should be tailored to meet their specific needs. Thanks to collaboration between NOAA, the Upper Mississippi River Basin Association, and the Midwest Regional Climate Center, three handouts were created to reach three different audiences:  a technical perspective, one in plain language, and one that is a hybrid. These are now available for download and distribution.
