Anatomy of Motion on Instagram: "The scapular pull-up is a great step toward restoring healthy strength in the back and shoulder muscles.

For most of us, the scapular region is not mapped well enough by the nervous system, resulting in underutilization of the surrounding muscles and overcompensation from other parts of the body.

Practicing scapular pull-ups builds the desired strength based on mobility and, in the process, helps the nervous system create a more precise neural map of the area.

This improved brain-body connection enables better control of the scapula, leading to healthier movement patterns in the future.

When the elbows are in front, we stretch the rhomboid muscles, and when the elbows are behind, we strengthen them Cradit by @makarin 2️⃣ Combo 1. Butterfly + tilt your arms to the sides. This exercise works out all four planes of the muscles moving the scapula. 3️⃣ Bends with a fitness elastic band gives a strengthening effect on the shoulder muscles. It plays a significant role in keeping your scapula moving optimally when reaching overhead. —- 🔎Sometimes when we don’t have optimal stability of the shoulder blade, the scapula can “wing out” leading to the popular term – scapular winging. — 🤓Don’t view winging scapula as a diagnosis but instead a description of movement quality. Whenever I see a scapula winging out with clients of mine, I use it as a guide to investigate further if their shoulder stabilizers need a bit of strengthening. — 🎯These exerc Levator Scapulae Pain Relief, Serratus Anterior Muscle, Scapular Winging, Scapula Exercises, Serratus Anterior, Shoulder Muscle, Muscle Stretches, Shoulder Muscles, Shoulder Pain
