    Assignment 2: Designing Assessment Instruments


    Type: Individual
    For this assignment, create a portfolio of assessment instruments (tasks, tests, worksheets, etc.)
    that you can use in your English Language classroom. Do the following:
    a. Design one set of instruments to assess your pupils. The set should include the following
    instruments:
    one instrument to assess your pupils speaking skills
    one instrument to assess their reading skills
    b. The set of instruments should be accompanied by the following items:
    a table of specification
    a marking scheme for each of the instruments
    c. In your introductory page, provide the following information about your pupils:
    year/form
    level of proficiency.
    d. Preceding each instrument, provide the following information:
    the learning standard or curriculum specification that you are focusing on
    when you intend to use each instrument (eg. at what point of a lesson, term,
    period of study)
    why you have created each instrument as such
    Include a list of references at the end of your paper.

    All instruments must be original. Plagiarised work will not be assessed.

    Use the Times New Roman typeface, font 12 and 1 spacing for the paper. No special cover
    page is needed. Staple the paper together on the upper left side of the pages. Write your name,
    matriculation number, group number, course code, course title, semester, assignment number, and
    assignment title on the upper right corner of the first page.
    The due date is 23rd May, 2015 (Saturday)
