    Arose Translation: the word becomes or manifesting by using voice. It
    is often prepared using African black soap (obtainable through your
    local botonica) it is placed in an animal horn (from cow, ram,
    antelope) *this is not exclusionary of all Afose.
    This form of manifestation can be very immediate or manifest
    gradually. This is dependant on the strength of the charm or what the
    Ashe is addressing.
    The elders had Afoses used to control the elements of nature and/or
    adamantine particles (also called Epe in Yoruba) such as stopping a
    train!
    There are Patikis (stories) of using Afose to curse something as powerful
    as a tree and have it be completely dried up and useless within 3 days!
    The preparation usually requires one chameleon or head of a black
    cobra.
    Gbetugbetu Creates a hypnotic effect, taking the object of your spell
    and taking away their will having them fulfill that which you have
    required in your preparation of this very powerful charm. The person is
    completely compelled to do things they would normally refuse. A
    formula that is quite difficult to prepare, although there are simpler
    formulas with a lesser degree of potency. Among the objects used in
    preparation are things with much Ashe already present. This extremely
    powerful spell can be used in very extreme or dire situations
    successfully. It can incline an enemy to act according to your bidding!
    Olugbohun Translation: Spirit who hears and acts on sound quickly if
    not immediately. This spirit grabs the spoken word out of the air and
    acts on it. Beware of Olubohun, as it is so powerful it may not be
    reversible. So think before using this incantation method or your
    muttering in frustration about your children! The manifestation may
    happen gradually and is not conjured very often. It is kept far from the
    house (to avoid accidental help) in the bush and consulted only
    occasionally. It is so very powerful that many use it in the practice of
    what is called BLACK MAGIC

    Internal Ashe
    To infuse every spoken word that is spoken with intent to manifest

    Orogbo take a bite of bitter kola,
    Efun Chew lime chalk, with a swig of dry gin, every morning.

    In the Odu Ifa Osatura truth is seen as a path of strength. Chanting it in
    conjunction with a certain ritual develops a persons Ashe. The regular
    chanting of the verse coupled with a certain ritual strengthens ones
    ASE.
