Title: Clinical Care Extender (CCE) and Leadership Team Member - Department Coordinator (DC)
CCE: Assist nurses in taking care of the patients. This includes taking vitals, cleaning, feeding,
bathing patients, making copies for the nurses, making packets, and stocking equipment.
Departments rotated through: Medical surgical unit, emergency department, pediatrics, postpartum, labor and delivery, and neonatal intensive care unit.
DC for Pediatrics: Responsibilities include making sure that group of interns in department
attend their shifts and fulfill their duties as a CCV. Training and testing interns, responding to
emails from the CCV interns, creating and updating calendars, writing weekly and monthly
reports, attending meetings, performing general clerical work, such as filing, making copies,
and answering the phone were other tasks done as DC.

performing other miscellaneous clerical tasks.
