    Please read on for information regarding how to access your childs grades online and important dates for the upcoming months. Can you believe its already September and the 4th week of school? Thanks for all of your continued help at home,

    Important Information
    Accessing Grades We are using the online grading system Engrade. Your childs username and password is their first name and last name. To start accessing your students grades, go to engrade.com. Example Username: John Doe Password: John Doe You can change this password anytime. We would highly recommend you change it to something more unique to you so you will be the only one with access. -----------------------------------------------------------------Upcoming Field Trip Information We are taking a 3rd/4th grade field trip to see Ferdinand the Bull at the Ogle Centers at Indiana University Southeast on September 28th. Afterwards, we will be eating lunch at Waterfront Park. Due to the limited number of seats, we will only be allowing 3 parents per class to chaperone. The cost is $5.00 for a ticket and this must be paid in advance. This is a first come, first serve basis. We will be sending home permission slips next week.

    Reading establishing reading groups and literacy block, focused mini lessons on reading strategies Writing establishing writers workshop, exploring correct grammatical rules, creating narratives using descriptive language Math- Review +/- (one digit), Place Value, Compare and Ordering Numbers, Odd/Even Science Structures and Functions of animals including birds, bats and live crayfish

    Below is the lunch schedule for each class. Parents are always welcome to join their child for lunch! Mrs. Peck: 11:25 Mrs. Embry: 11:30 Mrs. Hall: 11:35

    Please sign your childs agenda every night. This is a great way for us to communicate with each other! School fees are due ASAP. This includes a $10.00 literacy fee. Please make checks payable to Eisenhower Elementary.

    *If you need a class count for birthday treats, please let us know ahead of time. Also, prepackaged snacks, like Little Debbies, seem to work best for clean up and quick passing out.
