Bring on spring!!!! Even though winter is still trying to peek in spring is here. Please make sure your child has weather appropriate clothes in their cubbies. Alright families the buzzer game is back. If you are caught in the lobby wearing your I love Ivy league Pin when the buzzer goes off, you will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing for a free tuition credit. The month of April will be designated to Reading. Starting April 8th and ending on April12th we will have A Parent Read aloud. Parents will be able to come in anytime between 10am and 11am or 3pm to 4pm to read one of their favorite books to their childs class. Parent teacher conferences will be held April 23rd, 24th and 25th. Please sign up to meet with your childs teacher to learn about their progress in the classroom.

Calling all books, calling all Books


To support reading for the month of April, we will like to encourage all our parents to donate any used or unwanted books to the center. Reading is a very important part of a childs language development. So lets do our parts to further each childs development and creative imaginations with new and exciting books for them to read in class.

Does your child like to swim, dance, go on field trips, baking, magic shows, reptiles and meeting new friends? Here at Ivy League we offer a fun and exciting summer camp experience for your child. We have a cub camp program for our preschoolers and pre-k and adventure camp for our school age children. Come see the office for more information on early registration and program details.

Dartmouth Juniors
This month we will be focusing on animals. We will first review farm animals, then we will discover dinosaurs. The children will watch the movie dinosaurs to learn how dinosaurs lived in their habitat. The children will also explore the deep blue sea. The color of the month is purple, the shape is oval letters are O and P.

Princeton Preschool
Welcome spring from Princeton Preschool. This month we will be focusing on growth. The children will compare the growth of themselves to the growth of different seeds. Our fun Fridays will incorporate this topic as well. Our focuses for the month are rainbow colors and our shape is circle. Ms. Evonn

Sneak Peek!!!!!!!! This summer we are launching our new enrichment program Dance Class. Children will move and groove with different styles of dance and music. From ages 2 and up. More information to come.

Harvard Pre-K
For the month of April the class will focus on the earth. They will learn the importance of recycling and do an earth day craft. We also will do some planting and gardening. For literacy this month we will continue to learn sight words and forming sentences. Our author of the month is Bill martin Jr. In math the children will learn about estimation. Teacher of the Month: Ms. Cassidy (Dartmouth Juniors)


Ms. Cassidy is our Dartmouth Juniors Teacher. She has recently shown great improvement in implementing the curriculum into her classroom. Ms. Cassidy is often looked upon as a little sister to many of the staff members. She is always ready for a new task. She has a special bond with each and every student in her class. Her loving spirit as well as her positive attitude is a necessary part of our deer park family and this months teacher of the month. Keep shining!!!!!!!! March: Chandler Como (Cornell Cubs B) Chandler is the type of child who will always make you laugh. He has shown great leadership with encouraging his friends to go potty. He is also very helpful and very interested in learning new March things. Ms. Shetawra April: Aleigha Lopes (Dartmouth Juniors) Aleigha is like my assistant teacher. She is always cleaning and very helpful. She always wants to be challenged when it comes to learning new things. She has great fine motor skills, and can identify all her letters, colors and shapes.
