Construct additional sump of around 2 Lakhs liter capacity for storage of tanker water or metro water. This will reduce the filtration cost of the water as well as reduce the maximum demand by around 25 kVA amounting Rs. 69000/-per annum (@ Rs. 230 per kVA).
2.4.2
Install water level controller to operate the OHT transfer pump to avoid any over flow of OHT. Also existing NRV in the pipe line needs to replace.
2.4.3
Increase the canteen storage tank capacity by 1000 liter by installing additional tank.

Since water distribution network is around 24 years old and also under ground, to avoid the underground water losses, management can think of replacing the water distribution network by new efficient HDPE pipes. Anticipated savings due to reduction in water leakages is estimated to Rs. 7 Lakhs per annum.
