What is lower vein alarm? ans: when there is not enough blood flow from the AVF or DLC ,lower vein alarms 5. What has to be done to the machine after each use? ans: hot disinfection 6. Which solution is used for preserving the dialyzer? ans: Puresteril 7. Which chemical solution is used to do hot disinfection of the machine? ans: citosteril 8. What solution is used to clean dialyzer before using it for the patient? ans: Normal saline 9. How will you prepare sodium bicarbonate solution? ans: 10 liters of RO water + 1 packet (662gm) of bicarbonate powder 10.
