RWS course reflection

The purpose of RWS 1301 was for us to be introduced to rhetoric, expository writing and its

elements. Throughout the semester, I learned new ways of writing, especially with expository, as

well as other important details. When learning about rhetoric, we learned how it was ethics,

language, reality, and audience. Another importance when it came to writing rhetoric was the

rhetorical situations; exigence, audience, and constraints. As we went on we were introduced to

expository writing and its elements needed when writing a reflection. Later into the semester we

went into rhetorical analysis and its appeals ethos, pathos, logos. During this subject we learned

the meanings of the appeals and how they fit into an expository essay.
