Comments:

Fatma sourced her own worksheets and activities which she placed around the centers in
relation to the math’s objective for the day. She used fun interactive methods to teach the
concept and she gave the children accurate and correct information, focusing on the correct
mathematical language that the children had to learn

Assessment

Designs & implements simple diagnostic assessment (possibly through questions or a classroom task)

Comments:

In order to assess the children Fatma questioned them continuously through fun activities to
ensure they were using the language of length and were able to compare length as the
objective stated.

Reflection on Practice

Asks a range of questions to guide reflections on her classroom practice

Comments:

Fatma went through the abacus pages that had to be completed and planned her session
accordingly. She checked over her activities and her teaching plan with me before teaching it
to the children
