LESSON PLAN HLTH 1202


LESSON ORGANISATION (based on: AC:HLTH)

Intention: By the end of this lesson, students should be able to successfully pick the up the ball with one or two hands and give it
(handball/kick) to another person with control

Pre-lesson organisation:
- Check the weather
- Check safety of location (bees/ants/accessibility)
- Bring out equipment and first aid
- Make sure all balls are pumped up
- Set up a 15mx15m area with cones for warm-up
Equipment: (Based on 24 Students)
- 24x Cones
- 12x Footballs
- Bibs
- Whistle

• Choose one student from each group to grab 4 cones and set up a 10mx10m game area (with teachers’ guidance)

(3 mins) • Get two students to demonstrate, one person is a feeder and the other picks up the ball with one hand then two
hands
• Ask students what good things they saw the students do in the different types of ground balls, demonstrating what
they learnt today/KTPs
• Ask students which activity their favorite was, do this by calling out the name of the activity and students raiding
their hands
