    I have described the ritual according to the culture and tradition of my region. Based on
    location it maybe different. I would like to suggest you to talk to a Purohit (priest) near
    you. In case of naming, I would like to suggest you the following things -

    1. The name should be unique and meaningful

    2. The name should be given after checking the Janm kundali, remember name is a
    very important thing for every person
    3. The name shouldn’t be old fashioned which the baby hates after growing up but
    you must keep the family surname if there in any

    4. Sanskrit names are better, if you wish you can give names according to the
    culture of the country which you or your ancestors are a citizen of

    5. The name shouldn’t be irrelevant and mixture of different languages
