STRETCH
MARKS
• They
are
linear
and
dermal
scars
(also
called
“stria”
which
means
grooves)
• In

beginning

they

or
reddish-‐brown
in
colour
• In
later
stages
they
are
enlarged
in
length
and
width
and
appear
reddish-‐purple
