“A Spectrum of Opportunities: Designing Innovative Approaches
to Address Societal Challenges.” Have you ever heard the news today, #oustDuterte #academicfreeze #Justiceforbabyriver and more that has been the biggest issue in our society? We are all facing the societal challenges; corruption, injustice, racism, and the contention between the government and its people. Different generations, different societal problems but have you ever wonder why can’t we just reconcile, why can’t we just listen to different sides of opinions, is it because our government is lack of righteousness or is it because us people of the society who rants for everything where did it go wrong? Who is wrong? And how can we resolve this problem? Do we need to follow the rules of the government even if it’s beyond our will or do we need to disobey the government because we think they are wrong? If we think about it we all have different opinions and no one can say who is right but I do believe that the societal problems can be solved, how? By knowing how to use communication. Every country, society, group and individual have its own way of knowing the society and when different opinions contradict each other it will form misunderstand between the people. I believe that when connection get destroyed by means of bad communication, its good communication that resolves them. I believe that we can all unite if our society have good sense of communication by listening and sharing opinions and by accepting that not all we think is right. Let communication unite us, Let our societal problems be solved by good communication.
