RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Develop and maintain Inspection procedures and operation testing procedure, throughout
the construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
 Clearing all the pre-commissioning and commissioning PMCC punch list.
 Inspection installation of AHU filters(pre filters, chemical filters, bag filters)
 Inspection of pressure test, vacuum test & Gas charging of refrigerant line.
 Motor solo run for the AHU motors, CFU motors.
 Equipment start up (AHU,CFU,BF,ACCU,PACU,EF)
 Startup of DDC panel.
 Performance and functional test for all the HVAC systems
 Testing & balancing (TAB) for HVAC Air systems, subsystems and related equipment and
components
 Perform sound and noise test, Traverse pitot Tube test for rectangular duct.
 Superheating and Sub cooling testing of HVAC System

 Review of all ITP/QCP material approval prior for project plan preparation.
 Ensuring that Project quality Plan and procedures are activated at site.
 Performing inspections of installations when advised by construction-in-charges/ site
Supervisors.
 Monitoring the phases of quality control of work as per specification.
 Development of preliminary layout according to project input.
 Maintain inspection and testing records.
 Coordination with main contractor’s MEP coordinator and Consultant on all aspects of site
inspections.
 To conduct surveillance on the inspection tests required in the technical provisions of the
specification.
 To carry out the preparatory, initial and follow up inspections as per the approved ITP.
 To perform and witness all testing required at sub-vendors premises and approved
independent testing laboratory as recommended.
 Ensuring that all concealed works are completed satisfactorily and accepted by consultant
before clearing to civil and finishes team.
 Follow of ASME, ASHRAE, SMACNA standards.

 Coordinating with engineering manager, lead designers, fabrication shop & site
supervisors for execution of work.
 Planning and co-ordination of works with management teams
 Support to incidental works and other new works projects
 Keeping detailed site records for changes and progress to the works Supervision of
mechanical installation
 Ensure staffs are trained to carry out works safely, efficiently and to current standards.
 Monitor performance and report accordingly
 Monitoring and ensuring the project program is maintained.
 Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, health & safety, quality
assurance & environment.
 Performing installation as per ARAMCO standards.
 Verifying ARAMCO standards for the Installation..
 Monitoring the phases of quality control of work as per specification.
 Familiar with SAES-K-001 like ANSI B31.5, ASHRAE STD 15
 Maintain accurate and calibrated inspection tools and equipment for consistent
measurements of operation of the inspection and testing system.
 Maintain inspection and testing records.

installation.
 To conduct surveillance on the inspection tests required in the technical provisions of
the specification.

 Verify indoor air conditions including temperature, humidity, air change rates and air
quality of each area of a health care facility shall be as per recommendations of ASHRAE,
HVAC Applications Handbook Chapter on Health Care Facilities.
 Verify Chilled water pumps shall comply with the requirements of ANSI B73.1.
 Check that all symbols and abbreviations on HVAC drawings shall be consistent with
SMACNA, ASHRAE.
 All refrigerant containing parts of the air conditioning equipment shall be pressure tested
in accordance with ASHRAE STD 16.

• Inspection of HVAC:
 Installation of refrigerant pipe
 Pressure test of refrigerant pipes.
 Duct work installation with hangers and supports
 Installation of duct accessories, Air terminal devices
 Smoke and leak test.
 Installation of HVAC equipment(AHU,ACCU,BF,EF,CFU,STU, AIR STACK)

• Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning:


 Vacuum test.
 Refrigerant charging for system.
 Equipment start up
 Testing & Air balancing
 Performance testing for Hvac air systems
 Noise / sound test
