MID 164 / MID 187, PPID 393 Power Supply, Data Bus: MID 164: HCU MID 187: PCU Fault Code

There is a problem with the power supply or data bus for the electrical system, as indicated by fault codes MID 164 and MID 187 from the HCU and PCU. Specifically, the voltage is lower than normal or there is a short circuit (FMI 4) or an unidentified fault (FMI 11). This will cause an orange lamp to flash in the alarm panel, though there may be no other symptoms. The issue involves the backup voltage, CAN H and L data lines, and input voltage lines between the two units.
