The key takeaways are about helping others in games, thinking about moral issues, learning about problems in society through games, and learning about social issues through games.

The four keys of social impact games are: helping or guiding other players, thinking about moral or ethical issues, learning about a problem in society, and learning about social issues.

MMORPG is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. It works by using a client-server model where the client renders the game world and communicates with the server to update the player's actions and location. An example is DOFUS Touch.

I- Research the Four Keys of Social Impact Games by Dana Ruggiero and in

your own words (at most 5 sentences )explain each of the four keys.

Four Keys of Social Impact Games:

1. HELPING OR GUIDING OTHER PLAYERS IN GAMES.

= Games are fun and entertaining to people it gives us relaxation when we stress.
Helping a friend in a game that is new to him/her makes you and your friend build
and nurture your relationship. When helping or guiding a friend to a game teach
them all your knowledge about the game. You can also give ideas to your friend if
he/she struggle in a game. Helping or guiding a friend is not an easy task because
you need a patience and a time to experience them of what you experience to a
game. Encourage him/her not to give up, do not use bad words because you know
that he/she is a beginner, and it takes time to learn new things just like you and one
day he/she will reach the goal of being a good player in games.

2. THINKING ABOUT MORAL OR ETHICAL ISSUES IN SOCIAL

IMPACT GAMES.

= We know games it allows us to explore our personality, build connections to

others, for entertainment, decision making and sometimes used an educational
tool. Moral is our sense of morality and the way we make moral decisions. For
example, in game is you decide what move you are going to do or if you want to
follow rules. Ethical issues in social impact games are what I know that the games
have a rule that must need to follow. It makes the game become even better but it’s
up to the player if he/she will follow, if he/she will not follow the game will only
go back to zero or game over, and because of that it will help the learner to have a
sense of right and wrong.
3. LEARNING ABOUT A PROBLEM IN SOCIETY IN GAMES.

= So many players experiencing the situation in our society through games. There
are things just like gambling, war, survival, taking advantage to each other and so
many things. This kind of problem representing in games is we just need to know
and learn. I think the developers makes us experience this through games to know
what other people are experiencing in their life. So, if we experience this, we know
how to solve it.

4. LEARNING ABOUT SOCIAL ISSUES IN GAMES.

= By their very nature, social issues are complicated and dynamic. Understanding
them necessitates a thorough examination of cause and effect, many points of
view, and fast changing settings. For me players who are into game face so many
challenges just like in real world. They just must finish task that is gave to them to
not get punish and get a reward. This kind of task is need patience and time to
finish it. Just like in real world we get task to do, and we can get rewards after we
finish it.
I. What is MORPG? Explain how does it work and give one example.

= Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) is a video game

genre. MMORPGs (massively multiplayer online role-playing games) are online
role-playing multiplayer games that allow thousands of players to participate in the
game's expanding virtual world at the same time through the internet. They
frequently include both PvP and PvE gaming.

The most typical technique to coordinate the flow of data required to run an
MMORPG is to use a client and a server. The client is the application that runs on
your machine. When you are ready to play, you connect to the server, which is one
or more machines. A client is a hybrid of the game board and the window through
which the game world is viewed. Almost everything about the world is stored in
files and databases on your computer, including maps, sceneries, and even the
appearance of various mobs. Your computer converts these files into a
representation of the game world and what is in it using algorithms or sets of rules.
The game's music and images are processed by your computer. Your user interface
(UI), or the buttons and keystrokes you use to play the game, is also stored in the
game client on your computer. Some games allow you to customize your UI with
add-ons made by third parties. In addition, the client informs the server of your
location, where you are going, and what actions your character does. As the game
advances, a game client receives a lot of data from the server and processing it all
takes a lot of computing power. For players with sluggish CPUs or little graphics
processing capability, game play might come to a crawl, especially in high-traffic
regions. As a result, many players discover that to have a good gaming experience,
they must exceed a game's minimal system requirements.

The one example is DOFUS touch, it is the portable version of the hit PC
MMORPG that features Fire Emblem like turn based combat, over 15-character
classes to play as, and a massive world to explore.
II. What is MOBA? Explain how does it work and give one example.

= MOBAs are strategy video games in which two teams of players compete
against each other on a predetermined battleground. Each player oversees a single
character who has a set of distinct talents that progress through time and contribute
to the team's overall plan.

MOBA is consist of two teams, 5 to 6 players. Players work together as a team to

achieve victory which is to destroy the enemy base while also protecting their
base. Both teams have a task to achieve victory. Both teams often have main
constructions in opposite corners of the battlefield. The match is won by the first
side to destroy the opponent's main structure, while some games allow for various
victory criteria. Additional advantages may be gained by destroying other
constructions within the opponent team's base. Defensive structures which called
“Turret” or “Towers” it is automatically attacks enemy. Each team is aided by
relatively weak computer-controlled forces known as "minions," which spawn in
groups at both bases on a regular basis and march down specified courses (known
as "lanes") toward their opponent's base. While their charges are countered by the
opposing team's minions, players can assist them, transforming the minions into a
helpful army for attacking the opponents' defenses. On the battlefield, there are
usually three "lanes" that serve as the primary routes for moving from one base to
another. Top, middle, and bottom lanes are the three types of lanes. The "jungle" is
an uncharted area between the roads. The "jungle" is home to neutral monsters
who are hostile to both teams and can be found in designated "camps" around the
map. Players and their teams gain numerous rewards from defeating neutral
monsters, such as increased strength, buffs, or assistance in advancing the lane. A
single powerful in-game unit, known as a "hero" or "champion," is controlled by
the player and comes with a variety of unique powers. There are several roles of a
hero one is the Tank, Fighter, Assassin, Mage, and Marksman. When a hero stands
near or kills an enemy unit, they get experience points and gold, allowing them to
level up and purchase stuff from a store. A hero's power increases as they level up,
and one of their four abilities, which they usually have, may be strengthened. If a
hero dies due to a lack of health points, they are withdrawn from active play until a
respawn timer becomes zero, at which point they are respawned at their base. As a
hero's level rises, so does the time it takes to respawn.

Example of MOBA game is League of Legends (LOL).
