1. (a) Discuss the various forms of business organisation with legal perspective.
(b) Explain the importance of law in business.

(c) Explain the Constitutional provisions with respect to Freedom of Trade and Profession.
(d) What are the advantages and disadvantages of ‘free trade’ ?
2. (a) ‘‘A contract is valid if its is made by parties competent to contract.’’ Explain with help of
provisions of Contract Act.
(b) Discuss provisions of Contract Act regarding ‘Free Consent’.
OR
(c) State and explain the agreements declared as void by Contract Act.
(d) Define breach of contract. What are the remedies to breach of contract ?
3. (a) Define company. Distinguish between company and partnership.
(b) Describe Memorandum of Association and its contents.
OR
(c) Define director. What are the powers, duties and liabilities of a director ?
(d) What are the types of General Meetings ? Explain the provisions regarding Annual General Meeting.
4. (a) Explain the meaning of Consumer as per Consumer Protection Act.
(b) What is defect and deficiency? Explain with example.
OR
(c) Explain the composition, jurisdiction, power and functions of District Forum.
(d) What are the reliefs available to a Consumer under Consumer Protection Act ?
5. Write short notes on the following :—
(a) Importance of freedom of trade
(b) Anticipatory Breach
(c) Doctrine of Indoor Management
(d) Rights of Consumer.
