Drilling instruction for BUCS-144W

Operation:16" hole&13.375" CSG Date:2021/08/03

1) P/U and M/U 16"BHA, RIH and tag the top of cement;
BHA:16"PDC+O/X(F/V.surveryseat)+9-1/2"DC1+15-7/8"STAB+9-1/2"DC2 +15-
7/8"STAB+O/X+8-1/4"DC15+8"(F/J+Jar)+O/X+5"HWDP14+5"DP.
2) Pressure test 20"casing as per requirements;
3) Drill the cement and accessories: WOB: 20~50kN, RPM:
30~60rpm,Flowrate: 2500~3000L/min;
4) Drill out the cement and drill the new formation 3~5m, perform FIT.
5) Adjustparameter while the last stabilizer below the casing shoe,
WOB:60~160kN, RPM: 60~150rpm, Flowrate:3500~4600L/min;
6) Take single-shot survey every 300~500m based on the hole condition, if
inclination is more than 1.5°, Control drilling with lower WOB and take
survey every 150m till drop inclination to less than 1.5°;
7) Short trip every 500~600m, or depending on the hole condition;
8) Drill to the section TD;
9) Circulate, short trip to the casing shoe, run and tag the bottom, circulate,
POOH;
10) Wiper trip and take Multi-shot survey;
11) Retrieve 20" wear bushing;
12) Make preparations for running 13-3/8"casing, inspect, measure, drift and
clean 13-3/8"casing thread, check the casing accessories, confirm the
casing tally;
13) Run 13-3/8"casing as per the casing tally sheet, the first 5 joints casing
thread shall be coated with casing thread lock, inspect the F/C and F/S;
fill in mud every 10stands;
 The casing tally: F/S+3joints casing+F/C+casing
14) R/U 13-3/8"casing cement head and cementing lines, circulate 2 cycles;
monitor and record standpipe pressure and flowout;

1
15) Pressure test cementing lines(4000psi@10min), conduct the cementing
job as per program;
16) Bleed off, check flowback; if it flows back into casing, hold pressure to
WOC;
17) R/D the cementing head, flush excess cement in the annulus space
between 13-3/8"casing & BOP, WOC;
18) T/D 21-1/4"drilling spool bolts, pull up BOP’s, cut and L/D 13-3/8" casing;
19) Remove 21-1/4" BOP’s, N/D and L/D 21-1/4" casing head;
20) Rough cut 20" & 13-3/8"casing;
21) Final cut & dress 13-3/8"casing, N/U 13-5/8"casing head, packoff test;
22) N/U13-5/8" BOP stack, i.e. annular preventer+double rams preventer +
drillingspool + single ram preventer;
23) Function test BOP stack, pressure test BOP stack as per the standards
with test plug;
24) Pull the test plug out, close the bypass valve;
25) Run 13-5/8" wear bushing.
16"phase precaution:

 Condition mud properly, use high flowrate to prevent balling;

 Appropriate drilling parameters are used to keep well vertical;

 Ensure 13-3/8"casing to seal above normal pressure formation;

 Pay attension cementing slurry lose during displacement;

 Displacement efficiency is very low and cement channeling easily happens;
