Statement of Purpose

My name is Malik Muhammad Ahmed, and I am from Jan pur, Pakistan. I am writing this statement
of purpose in excitement and great hope in support of my student visa to your good office. It is my
desire to study in fully sophisticated and developed environment. This letter is to describe you how
much confident I am with my decision to study Management and International Business – MSC at the
Birmingham City University, United Kingdom.
I am a responsible and dedicated person. I have taught myself to be tough and hardworking plus
consistent and how to be successful in my life. I have completed my Bachelors of Business
Accounting from King’s Own Institute Australia in 2021 and currently working at Al-HAMD Real
Estate & Builders. I am currently working as an Accountant at Al-HAMD Real Estate & Builders.
During the whole tenure of my bachelors, I worked as Research assistant with one of my professor.
The mainly focused area of the research was International business and management. The research
work allowed me to see how globalisation has brought about an increasing 'connectedness' of
businesses, markets, people and information across countries.
At that time, I got an idea that International business is one that engages in global trade in both goods
and services. International firms are substantial in scope and employ a sizable workforce. Moreover,
International trade also brings fresh opportunities to international markets and intensifies rivalry in
domestic ones. Companies are pushed to innovate and use resources more effectively by global
competition. International trade exposes consumers to a wide range of products and services. If I
pursue degree in International Business, it will give me competitive edge in today’s workforce. I will
also easily get a chance to work in multinational firms as an accountant.
As an accountant in the long lasting reputation company of the Pakistan, my job responsibilities
include to have deal with the exporters and administrate as well as manage the diverse team of the
finance department to record and schedule the transactions.
By doing MSC in Management and International Business, I can significantly enhance my skills that
are important to deal with the diverse people such as cross-cultural communication skills, excellent
networking abilities, collaboration, interpersonal influence, adaptive thinking, emotional intelligence
and resilience. I strongly believe that it is time now to acquire enhanced understanding of
International Business in a highly ranked UK university where I would get chances to learn more and
in better ways.

As United Kingdom is considers as one of the best destination for getting the excellent level of studies
for international students, I have choose UK for continuation of my studies. UK’s rich cultural

I have chosen to study this course at University of Greenwich, because the university promotes Skills
Development including Communication, Research and Evaluation, Creativity and Critical Thinking in
teaching. Birmingham City University supports the learning by stimulating contact time that
includes lectures, workshops, seminars and case studies.

FAMILY TIES
I am considered a very responsible and mature personality among my family. They have always
taught me to face my problems myself and they never doubted my abilities. My father has supported
my decisions and always stood beside me. I have always listened and respected to the decisions they
have took for me. My father is a landlord and owns lands in Junpur (District Rahim Yar Khan). I have
2 brothers and 3 sisters.
MY FUTURE PLANS
I have always graded learning and education as extremely significant part of my life. During my
professional experience, I have witnessed that after acquiring relevant skills career shifts to new level.
My vision is to complete my degree and return to Pakistan and excel in a job related to International
Business. I believe my international academic experience and degree would be very much beneficial
for my practical life. Being a foreign degree holder, I can have many chances in my homeland in my
field. I am very sure that I will be facing many opportunities after getting a foreign degree. Foreign
qualifications from reputed international institution are very well regarded among employers in my
country so after my MSC in Management and International Business and my work experience in
multinational firm, I will become an ideal candidate and I seek many opportunities in huge
Multinational organizations.
