Course Description Designed to effectively implement the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training
Service (LTS) at School and community levels where students are expected teach, share, and
deliver the topics learned from the CWTS and LTS to the marginalized members of the community
as part of the academic service-learning option.
Course Intended Learning 1. Cognitive
Outcome Discuss the different theories, concepts, processes, approaches in Civic Welfare
Training Service.
2. Affective
Discuss and practice the acquired knowledge from the concepts contained in Civic Welfare
Training Service (CWTS) through:
 Participation in class discussion regarding the problems and solutions in the community.
3. Psychomotor
Apply the theories and concept to the real-world setting.

Teaching Methodology The course will use the following teaching methodologies: formal and informal lecture which focus
on the active participation of the students during classroom dynamics.
