Brief Summary:
Compiling and maintaining personnel records and entering data for each employee, such as addresses,
weekly wages, absences, quantity of sales or output, supervisory reports on ability, and date and
reason for termination, are all part of the job of a human resources assistant. Compiling and typing
reports from employment records, filing employment records, searching employee files, and providing
information to authorized personnel are all part of the job.
Work Activities:
Respond to queries about exams, eligibility, salary, benefits, and other relevant information.
Arrange for employment vacancies to be advertised or posted, and notify qualified candidates
of position availability.
Compile and produce personnel-related reports and documentation; Examine employee files to
answer enquiries and give information for personnel actions.
Explain to workers or job seekers the company's personnel policies, benefits, and processes;
collect personnel records from other departments or employees.
Process and examine job applications to determine applicants' credentials or eligibility.
Staffing, recruiting, training, grievances, performance reviews, classifications, and employee
leaves of absence are all examples of personnel-related documentation that must be processed,
verified, and maintained.
Record information for each employee, such as addresses, weekly wages, absences, quantity of
sales or output, supervisory performance reviews, and dates and reasons for terminations.
To assess applicants' job suitability, get information from law enforcement agencies, past
employers, and other references.
Performance
Experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or in a related human resources/administrative
job is required.
Quick computer typing abilities (MS Office, in particular)
Working knowledge of an HRIS or HRMS
Knowledge of ATS software and resume databases
Basic understanding of labor laws
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent communication ability
Ability to accurately follow to directions.
