Synopsis

Title of the project

A STUDY ON CUSTOMER LOYALTY AND SATISFACTION TOWARDS OLA ELECTRIC
SCOOTERS IN BENGALURU

Objective of the project

 To find out, the consumer preference towards the product of Ola in Bilaspur city.
 To find out the cause and factors that effect that influence the consumer preference
towards ola products in Bilaspur city.
 To suggest and implement solutions and suggest for the importance of electric bikes at
Bilaspur.
 To implement the findings according to the research and consumer preference and
improvement needed.

Rational/significance/ Justification of the Project

With increasing in air pollution in urban areas and scarcity of fuels Electric Bikes is in great demand but it is
not used by most of the people because of lack of awareness. Thus, the purpose of the study is to study the
awareness level of consumers towards E-Bikes and also the perception of the users. Thus, by creating
awareness we can enhance the sales of Electric Bikes The objectives of the study are;
 To find out the awareness of consumer about the electric bikes.
 To find out the reason why consumer prefers to electric bike.
 To find out the factor influencing the sales of electric bike.
 To know the users perception about electric bikes. To suggest measures to increase sales of electric
bikes.

The justification for doing this project is that the questions that arise in the minds of consumers regarding
electrical vehicles, the obstacles that arise are known. And understanding the thoughts of people of different
ages towards electric vehicles and the effect of different ages on the idea of buying an electric vehicle will
be known. According to the income level, at what price the user would like to take an electrical vehicle, how
or not, it is known about all this. Once all these things are known, then it is very easy for any company to
sell its brand of vehicles. Educated people have the concept of taking and not taking electronic vehicles, it is
also known, as well as working in this project, study is done to bring maximum use of renewable fuel.
LITERATURE REVIEW

EV industry in India
The Indian automotive industry is the fifth largest in the world and is slated to be the third
largest by 2030. Catering to a vast domestic market, reliance on the conventional modes of
fuel intensive mobility will not be sustainable. In an effort to address this, federal
policymakers are developing a mobility option that is “Shared, Connected, and Electric” and
have projected an ambitious target of achieving 100 percent electrification by
2030.
Electric Vehicles:
A Synthesis of the Current Literature with a Focus on Economic and Environmental
Viability. A research concludes that the longer-term uptake of EVs will depend heavily on
progress in battery technology, to bring down costs and increase energy density, and on the
provision of a suitable recharging infrastructure. Potential Need for Electric Vehicles,
Charging Station Infrastructure and its Challenges for the Indian Market. India should invest
in small-scale reinforcements to manage the load issues locally rather than going for an
enormous change. Home charging should be encouraged. Proper planning of place,
population, traffic density, and safety should be considered before implementing the massive
scale charging infrastructure. The integration of activities within the energy and transport
fields is important. Development goals through different innovative policies and programs,
for instance, drivers of electrical cars are offered a financial consumer incentive, like tax
credits, purchase subsidies, discounted tolls, free parking, and access to restricted highway
lanes will help the market to grow.

Research Methodology

The analyses were grouped considering the various applications of electric

scooters and the cases identified with the help of the manufacturers, importers and operators
of the vehicles themselves.70 These recommended their large current institutional customers
and the most representative examples of each application. The information was collected
through field surveys, desk research and, mainly, semi-structured face-to-face interviews, via
telephone or video call with assemblers, managers and users of companies and municipalities
that use electric scooters to provide services in India and abroad. In addition, structured
questionnaires were sent about costs and price formation, only partially answered, with
limited numerical content and unrepresentative since most companies still lack due control
of performance and economy metrics.

Data sources

Data Collection:

Data collection is characterized by standard validated techniques as the method of gathering,

measuring and analyzing accurate insights for study. The most important goal of data
collection is to ensure that data-rich and accurate data is obtained for statistical analysis in
order to make data-driven research decisions.

Primary Data:

Primary data is information obtained from first-hand sources by a researcher, using

techniques such as surveys, interviews, questioners or experiments. It is compiled, straight
from primary sources, with the research project in mind. In comparison with the term
secondary data, the information already present is used.

Secondary Data:
Secondary data refers to knowledge that is gathered by someone other than the user.
Censuses, data gathered by government agencies, operational records and data originally
gathered for other research purposes are popular sources of secondary data for social science.
