When you replace an Access 1 2 3 module or update
Access 1 2 3 software, you must calibrate the truck.
The items that follow are the necessary calibrations:

Display Description
NO BATTERY RESTRAINT The Battery Restraint Switch is open. Make sure that the battery restraint is
installed correctly.
CYCLE FOOT PEDALS Release and then apply the foot pedals.
ENTRY BAR Apply and then release the entry bar.
LEFT PEDAL Release and then apply the left foot pedal.
RIGHT PEDAL Release and then apply the right foot pedal.
REDUCE TRAVEL SPEED The travel speed is too high for the truck and the load. Decrease the truck travel
speed.
LOW BATTERY LIFT CUTOUT The battery charge is low. Charge the battery.
CHAIN SLACK The truck senses slack in the chain. Raise the mast to tighten the chain.
UNATTENDED MOVEMENT The truck moved without an operator present.
CUTOUT, USE OVERRIDE The mast is at the height cutout. Use the override switch to raise the mast higher
than the height cutout.
HEIGHT CUTOUT STOP The mast is at the height cutout. The mast cannot go higher than the height
cutout. Lower the mast below the cutout.
CENTER HAND CONTROL The multi-task control handle is not in the center. If the multi-task control handle
is in the center when this messages occurs, then do the calibration steps in
CALIBRATION MENU/C1.
TRAVEL OVERTEMP The temperature of the traction motor (M1) is too high. Turn the truck OFF. Let
the M1 become cool.
LIFT OVERTEMP The temperature of the hydraulic pump motor (M2) is too high. Turn the truck
OFF. Let M2 become cool.
CENTER PEDAL Release and then apply the center foot pedal.

STEER OVERTEMP The temperature of the steer motor (M5) is too high. Turn the truck OFF. Let M5
cool.
ACCESS 3 OVERTEMP The temperature of ACCESS 3 is too high. Turn the truck OFF. Let ACCESS 3
become cool.
ACCESS 2 OVERTEMP The temperature of ACCESS 2 is too high. Turn the truck OFF. Let the
ACCESS 2 become cool.
ACCESS 5 OVERTEMP The temperature of ACCESS 5 is too high. Turn the truck OFF. Let the
ACCESS 5 become cool.
CHECK LOAD The load is too heavy or is not distributed correctly. Correct the load condition.
PLEASE STAND BY Wait for the truck software to complete loading.
REMOTE MODE ACTIVE The remote mode is active.
REKEY ON LEVEL Move the truck to a level floor. Turn the truck OFF. Then turn the truck ON again.
PARAMETERS MODIFIED The truck settings were changed.
WARM UP CYCLE ACTIVE The truck is warming up for express lower operation (1–3 minutes). The raise
and lower functions are disabled.
