self-contained incidents or series of linked incidents
2.
- The plot and structure is the sequence of incidents through which an author constructs
a story.
- The structure represents on how each event causes or leads to next.
- Conflict is where the plot is often created. It is the major element of the plot because
it causes the reader to pay more attention on the story. It can also be classified into
internal and external conflict.
3. You should read carefully and understand what you’re reading. You will also need to
analyze if all the elements are there.
Assessment
1. The villagers and the shepherd boy
2. The theme of the story is that Nobody will believe a liar even if it tells the truth.
3. The values that I can get in the story is that we need to be honest. If we are honest on
every word we say, people will tend to build a trust on you but if we’re dishonest, no one
will have trust on you. “whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with
much”- Luke 16:10
