The biblical worldview refers to how individuals see the world around them and the real
humans choose to live. It is all based on what people believe to be correct and what they believe
to be their calling by Jesus. In Ephesians 4:17-22, the bible forbids people to live like or think the
Gentiles. Instead, the bible wants humanity to live following the truth of Jesus. The Christian
philosophy of education is how people live, as reflected by the works of God as described in the
bible. The Christian philosophy of education holds that education based on God's expectations
yields positive outcomes such as morals, love, and respect. Christian education is significant as it
helps students translate and integrate the beliefs to other schools subjects and their lives.
Christians are expected to develop a philosophy of education based on the truth of the Scriptures
—understanding of God’s desire. God desires to have a cordial relationship with every
individual. In this light, education should be aimed at developing and nurturing such a
relationship. Education should be aimed at ensuring all students realize their purpose in life and
implemented, derived, and defended—theological, social, and doctrinal elements. And Education
can be considered when developing a Christian philosophy to education. The bible is the
skeleton on which practical application of the Christian philosophy education can be arranged.
Besides, the bible is considered the primary source of learning. Christian teachers are expected to
cultivate a learning environment that facilitates the understanding of the required content area
and ensures that they promote and display godly principles in an attempt to advance the kingdom
of God (Goddard, 2016). Educators should teach what is trustworthy and honest and set an
3
example for their students. “Do what is good. Set an example for them in everything. When you
teach be honest and serious. No one can question that what is true so teach what is true” (Titus
2:7-8). Teachers are required to deliberately execute their duties and responsibilities when it
comes to teaching with their eyes fixed on honoring God while at the same time striving for
excellent care, likely to find themselves meeting the basic standards of education in different
Lorigan (2020) affirms that biblical understanding and the believer’s Christian worldview
of education should direct and impact the specific practice and methodology that teachers use in
teaching. Building on the books of Genesis and Revelation, it is evident that God is orderly and
logical. In this case, teachers are expected to conduct their vocational duties in the same manner.
asserts that Christian educators have realized that to be indeed Christian, the learning and
teaching curriculum must integrate the Bible in theory and practice. In this light, the bible
provides more than just generalization and theoretical guidance in teaching. The bible is an
integral part of the content in the curriculum with all subject matter (Choi, n.d.). Building on the
Christian philosophy of education, the bible should be the integrating factor around which all
subject matter is arranged and correlated, providing the criterion upon which teaching is judged.
This means that the processes and procedures of the bible should be based on the definite theory
of knowledge.
Through Christianity, people can understand life from the perspective that they should be
organized and productive, which falls under the primary goals set from an educational
perspective. From education, it is realized that people are brought to like-minded reasoning,
4
which is significant for their progress and development in life (Germano, 2019). The fact that
like-minded people, especially those who think that they have collectively found the answers to
religious truth, find the spirit to organize themselves together shows the significance of
Christianity at the local and national fronts. As per the discussion made by Goddard (2016), it is
from education that people can understand their freedom and aspects of life. This is something
realized in the elements of Christianity, with significant progress been made towards equality
Though religious freedom is considered the first right, it is clear that many people regard
themselves as sacred with expectations of special treatment or the sorts. From an educational
perspective, Christianity has the concepts of many rights (Lorigan, 2020). One, religious
freedom, which is an aspect related to Christianity, is considered a fundamental right that is also
embraced in the educational philosophy (Goddard, 2016). Under this, religious right s regarded
as the first amendment of the constitution. This is because it is an equal right to all, which means
there are no special considerations to any Christian and any educational program (Germano,
2019). For any Christian community, this is an equal right under which their entire existence is
With education, people are taught how they are protected and equal as part of considering
the significance of Christianity. The same discussion by Goddard (2016) reveals that for most
individuals and communities, Christianity is separated from education and other aspects but fully
attached to all kinds of individuals as the first right, which makes it a significant element of
interest in any educational approach. For many scholars and academic philosophers, it is of
consideration that Christianity stands in the best interest of religious freedom and promotes the

be specific brings and considers the educational developments of religious freedom and religious
liberty (Choi, n.d.). Due to the same religious freedom and aspects of religious freedom, people
can also open faith-based educational institutions under which the owners can operate from their
fundamental beliefs. With Christianity and education, this becomes a private and public right
under which people express their religious truths in their personal lives. From this, they can
extend the same into their lives and other aspects of the world, including economic growth,
which forms a significant element of education (Goddard, 2016). These truths are reflected in
their productivity and political/ social lives. This also means that their facts and beliefs can be
considered in associating and forming public groups to express the same. Both Christianity and
educational philosophies emphasize that religious freedom also comes as an extensive but
limited right.
Christianity, but they also have a significant effect on the political, social, and economic actions
and opinions of individuals (Germano, 2019). Christianity or lack of the same tends to have
profound economic, social, and political consequences, but the most considered aspects of
change are exhibited in education. According to Lorigan (2020), the Christian philosophy of
education embraces a biblical worldview. It also highlights secularisation issues, which provide
some social hostility among people in the world, threatening religious freedom and separation of
students, Christian educators should ensure that students are going in the right direction. Being
God’s image bearer’s Christian educators are called to live the truth and reflect the character of
God. In this light, Christian educators are expected to teach students the Creator's love by trying
to mirror his actions. Today, there are many severe government restrictions on Christianity,
violence-based religious prosecutions, and social hostilities that affect the wellbeing of the
people on the fronts of education, the economy, social life, and many other areas. With many
nations like the United States of America working to find its roots and imperative significance of
Christianity from its rich history, some aspects of human dignity and freedom to exist together
are playing key roles. The most significant one, however, is education. Through education, a
biblical connection and understanding are helping promote the world towards a direction of
equality and learning just the way the Christian Bible calls for unity. Besides the critical
separation of Christianity from aspects such as education, Americans tend to understand the
concept and importance of religious freedom very well, which is majorly associated with the
high literacy level and significance of having stable education built on the biblical concept's
principles.
